Lamb’s Custom Painting took a trip to New Castle County, Delaware to liven up the paint on this sizeable brick rancher in Wilmington. Our team had painted this residence years ago and the homeowner requested our services once again. We started by Softwashing the entire home. We removed the black stains located on the roof. Any lichen that was present was eliminated. Special attention was made to removing the creosote from the chimney. We used Prosoco Sure Clean Restoration Cleaner to remove the creosote staining.
After protecting the work area with drop cloths, our team set up ladders with staging planks to provide optimal uniformity of the paint. The body of the home was painted with Sherwin-Williams Duration exterior latex flat paint colored with Weston Flax HC-5 by Benjamin Moore. The trim was painted with Sherwin-Williams Duration exterior semi-gloss white. The front entry door was refreshed with two coats of Minwax Gel-stain in Mahogany. The pergola was stained with two coats of Sherwin-Williams Woodscapes white.
It was a pleasure working with this family again. They were thrilled with the results.
