Lamb’s Custom Painting was contacted by the homeowners of this summer getaway home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They wanted to liven up their space with a softwash and a new coat of paint. We were happy to oblige.
We started by Softwashing the home from top to bottom, including the shed. This removed the dirt, mold, lichen, and rust that had accumulated over the years.
The roof had a considerable amount of rust that had bled onto the sides of the home. We removed the rust by cleaning and sanding those areas.
After the residence dried, we caulked the areas that needed it with a paintable acrylic latex caulk with silicone. We applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint that was colored with Behr’s Curly Willow to the body of the home. The porch, railings and spindles were coated with Sherwin-Williams Superdeck Solid Stain that was colored with Behr’s Country Cork. The trim and doors were covered with two coats of Sherwin-Williams Aged White in Super Paint semi-gloss. The roof of the home was coated with Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Acrylic Coating in Tri Corn Black semi-gloss.
It was exciting to create such a transformation. The homeowners were overjoyed with the results.
