Lamb’s Custom Painting and Lamb’s Softwash Roof and Exterior Cleaning was able to be a part of the transformation of the quaint beach cottage in Lewes Beach, Delaware.
We were approached by the homeowners with their request to coat the body of the home with a product that would revive the color of the home while protecting it from the elements. We were able to do just that; the results were spectacular.
We first cleaned the entire home with our Softwash detergents. This eliminated any mold, mildew, lichen, salt, and road-dirt that would impede our staining and painting process.
We coated the body of the cabin with two coats of Sikkens- PPG ProLuxe Cetol SRD Semi-transparent Stain, the color was Riverwood by Sherwin-Williams’ SuperDeck pallet. The trim was painted with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint white semi-gloss
The life of the beach log cabin will be prolonged with the application of this stain. It will repel water and protect the wood from harmful UV rays. Whether the siding is made of cedar or log, it is imperative to protect wood siding from the elements.
The homeowners were incredibly pleased with the results.
